Rainstorm is one of those fabulous quilt patterns that looks way more complicated than it really is. The rows are strip pieced then cut apart to create skinny and wide strip pieced units. Then you just assemble the strip pieced units at a 45 degree angle, add some sashing, trim it square and you’ve got a fabulous, scrappy quilt.
